I'm assuming you mean scope wise???All my hunting guns have either Redfield's or Leupolds.I do have a Winchester M-70 "Coyote" in 223 which has a Weaver V24.On higher powers the clarity isn't the best.I like the nylon military slings.

Ruger Redhawk How does that Winchester "Coyote" shoot? I've always been a Redfield fan. The .220 Swift has a 3x9 Nikon on it though. Have a 6x18 Redfield 5 star accutrac that's needing some work. Have a 3x9 Simmons on one of the ole .22's auto's.

I've taken my Coyote to the range a couple times.I haven't reloaded in years. I haven't shot it with any factory ammo . All I've put through it were some reloads I loaded back in the very early 80's.I couldn't even tell you what load they are.I do remember they are Hornady bullets. If I remember correctly they are 52 grain. Even at that I was getting 1.25"-1.5" groups.I know I will shrink this group way down working a load up for it. I had a friend's uncle who's a retired Smith do a trigger job.It breaks around 2.5 pounds.I'm very impressed with the Win Coyote.Right after getting the Coyote I picked up a Like New Ruger M-77VT in 308.The previous owner reworked the trigger.Which I must say he did a great job on it.I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet.Unfortunately the guys wife threw the box and manual out. This rifle was spotless.I'm very picky when it comes to my hardware. Before buying a Coyote check the Ruger VT's out.I think you'll be impressed with the Ruger's.I also was a big fan of the Redfield scopes until they went belly up. I know there are new Redfields but haven't a clue who's making them.I'll stick with Leupold's from now on. Ruger Redhawk

If it ain't a Ruger, I don't shoot it and if it ain't a Leupold, I don't view it! 'nuff said, huh?

Swampbird, I like your attitude and I must say you have good taste in your equipment. I Love those Ruger M-77's.I have more then my share of them. The Leupold Vari X II's were a good scope for the money. Not sure about the newer models after they dropped the Vari X II's. Ruger Redhawk
