And is it lazer, or stadia type?

Many years ago I had a little manual 50 yard range finder. I thought that was the greatest thing since cable tv.
Now I have a Nikon 800 yard lazer range finder that I'll never get rid of!

Busnell yardage pro 1000. I've really no complaints. Odds are will upgrade when bigger and better come out though. Guess that's the nature of the beast.

Nope never used one.I'm sure they are great for bowhunting.I primarily gun hunt and don't see the need for one.Maybe if I tried one I'd be spoiled. Then again You can't miss anything you never had.

I was looking at them today as a matter of fact. You can never have to many toys.

Where I hunt, it's not impossible to have 300+ yards to shoot. Sometimes, it can be a little tricky determining if it's 300 yards, or 400 yards. Range finder is worth it's weight in gold then.

From my other post you see I got a rangefinder last week. The Bushnell Pro 450.It's a Laser finder. The Basspro flyer rated it from 5yds to 999 yards. The manual says 5 yds to 800 yards.Must be a misprint on BP's part.I know they wouldn't want to mislead anyone LOL.Effective range Deer up to 250 yds which I was somewhat disappointed. I'll have to focus on a different type object close to the deer.Hey what the heck, for 135.00 I'll try it. If it proves to be worthwhile for my needs and I need one with more range I'll get one.You never know about something unless you try it.These rangerfinders might be the greatest thing since welfare.
