Do Merrian's gobble very much? I know alot of them are hunted in very open country but are they vocal? I hope to give them a try in a year or so.
I am trying to put together a hunt in Fla. for the Osceola next spring.

where i hunt they sure are.i wouldnt know if in different they gobble diffrently.maby they have different dialects? ;D

243, where have you been hunting Merriams at? I want to go! They are the prettiest birds of them all I think. Except for maybe the Osceolas.
Only ones we have here in Oklahoma are Easterns and Rio Grandes. And hybrids of those two.
