What gauge and shot size do you prefer when rabbit hunting?

i usea 20 ga with 6 shot.oh,its a pump

I use a 12gauge with #4 it is a Browning auto they just dont run after that

Why you think they dont run?? But yeah actually there is. I use #4 shot for just about evrything I hunt, with in smallgame includeung birds. But I dont wabbit hunt with dogs I like the old challange get out der and walk dem wabbits up

I have had some good walks across different paddocks using a 12g chasing a few wabbits about. also had some good shoots standing on a wabbit warren putting a ferret down one of the holes, don't use the nets to catch them just use the shotgun you don't know which hole there going to come out of and usually come out fast

i have beagles.........we go rabbit hunting all the time............i use my 20 guage browning pump.....with mod choke.and i shoot 6 shot ......sometimes 5 shot......

20 guage #6 or 4 shot... because I live in a shotgun only state, that's all I use... I have at least one of each action there is (I don't own bolt action shotgun). It just depends on where I'm hunting and what the weather is like what I take out of the gun locker that morning. I also hunt with dogs... I have 2 male, short legged beagles....

I have a Stevens 12ga double barrel. No.6 shot does the trick.
