I went to my dealer yesterday. As soon as I walked in he said look at this. It's a Ruger KP89X catalog # 3060. Mine was made in 1995. What this gun is a Stainless "P" series chambered in 9mm but also has a extra barrel and spring assembly for the 30 Luger cartridge. My understanding is around 5800 of these were made. One's prior to Sept 1994 came with 15 round mags. Mine has the 10 rounders. The grip frame does have a mark on it but being it's stainless I should be able to work it out.I never saw or heard of one of these until it was brought to my attention. My dealer said there is or was another one on Gunsamerica going for 699.00. I got mine for 550.00.I'm real happy with my find. Ruger Redhawk

It's not an aftermarket deal. The Ruger end label on the shipping sleeve is marked KP89X X meaning convertable . Without digging it out I believe the end label say 9mm/30Luger. I told my buddy who worked in a gun shop for years. He never heard of one of these convertables either.
