As some of y'all know, I'm the competition moderator on Savageshooters.com. We have a match that runs every other month. The next match will be in August.
If I can get enough interest from here, I will open it up to all makers rather than Savage only.
We have classes for Sporter Rimfire; Sporter Centerfire; Muzzleloader; Tactical/Varmint; Open; and Benchrest.
Please ask for more info.

Since it's done by e-mail, you shoot wherever you want to.
You choose a class you want to shoot in, then print off the proper targets. We use particular targets for the match but they are a free download.
Once you have the targets, go to a range (field, yard, etc.) and shoot for score. E-mail scores to me and I'll tally them up and we post the winners of each class after the match.
The match is one month in duration and is done every other month. There are no awards or prizes so we just use the honor system on scoring.
These are the classes and are usually tweeked a bit each match to make for a little better event.
1) RIMFIRE- must use factory action, barrel, and stock. May use any sights. May use any trigger. A).22LR- fired at 50 yards using 50 yard smallbore target B).17HMR/.22Mag- fired at 50 yards using 50 yard smallbore target
2) CENTERFIRE- must use factory action, barrel, and chambering (you can't modify the barrel to take a cartridge that the barrel wasn't chambered for at the factory) A) Sporter- this a class for ordinary hunting rifles with light tapered barrels. May use any stock, trigger, or sights. Fired at 100 yards using MR-31 target. B) Tactical/Varmint- this is a class for heavy barreled rifles. May use any stock, trigger, or sights. May shoot from bipod. 100- Fired at 100 yards using 50 yard smallbore target; 200- Fired at 200 yards using MR-31 target. May shoot one distance or both.
3)MUZZLELOADER- must use factory action, barrel, and stock. May use any sights and any trigger. Fired at 100 yards using MR-31 target.
4)OPEN- anything that doesn't fit above. Must use factory action (no homemade or prototypes). May use any barrel, sights, trigger, stock, or chambering. Fired at 200 yards using MR-31 target. May use bipod, bags, or sling. Must shoot from PRONE postion.
COURSE OF FIRE- each class is shoot for a best score of 100/10X. You will shoot 5 shots per target and take the best 2 target sheets. You can shoot as many targets as you want, just use the best 2.
Scoring is done as (highest to lowest) X, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6. X is the very center of the target and is counted as 10 points. Highest X count is used as tie breaker.
You have one month to turn in all of your scores.
Clear as mud?

Click on the link above. It will take you to the Savageshooters forums. It's a Proboards like this site.
Once there, you will need to register, just like this site. Then you can post questions, etc.
Information about the match is in the competition section. The rules will be under August e-mail match.
