The topic of CCW's came up by Danny.I was wondering what do most of you prefer . A revolver or semi auto?I like carrying my Glock M-27. One day my life might depend on that lil' Glock. It's proven to be very reliable.I wouldn't hesitate carrying it in the worst parts of town.I do on occasions carry a revolver but always end up going back to that little M-27 Let's hear your opinions. Why did you choose what you carry? Ruger Redhawk

243, CCW's are used primarly for carrying for self defense situations. With that said a small easy to conceal firearms is prefered.

I carry 3 on me at all times out of the house, the 45 Colt Combat Comander, and two 380 colt mustangs! I have been robbed and shot, and been packin' since I was 17, so I don't want to die for lack of shootin' back! Nor will I stand by and watch a crack-head, or whoever weild a gun in the commission of a crime, I will nail him to the wall!

I've carried many different firearms since getting my CCW permit. I finally settled on my Kimber because of it's absolute reliability, accuracy, and caliber. It hits what I aim at, every single time, and there's nothing like the .45 acp to drop an assailant in his tracks.

The 45 ACP is hard to beat for protection, and combat, I have used them in both situations, and they drop 'em like a rock, even with mill. spec. hardball's, I also use the Hydra's, and I also use them for hunting, and have never lost a deer with my 45 auto, and never had to take a second shot either, Like Danny's fav., my hot-rodded Colt Combat Comander is the most reliable pistol I have ever owned! Never had a jam, even in my U.S. Army issue Colt's, Colt produced what Browning designed, and it's a darn good design that has lasted almost 100 years with very little change!
