Last weekend I was out of town. I went to BassPro in Ft Lauderdale. They just happened to have a Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter.44Mag w/ 7 1/2"bbl S/S.Man this thing is beautiful.I originally ordered a Leupold 4x28mm scope for it.I was advised by several to get the 2x instead.I had time to change my order before it was shipped out.So this year I'll be toting a Ruger SBH Hunter topped with a Leupold. It doesn't get any better then that.

Hopefully I'll find time to take it to the range before hunting season. If not my old trusty Redhawk will come along again.I have a couple guns I couldn't wait to get my hands on .Once I get them,it seems like they're put on the back burner. My Ruger M77/50 is a perfect example.I bought it 3 or 4 years ago and still haven't made it to the range. Working with allot of overtime, plus trying to keepi up the homestead sure interferes with the good things in life.I would like to carry this SBH Hunter this year.It sure has a good feel to me and think it will serve me well.

That's sharp! I need to get one of those! It matches my rifle! Danny If you have a "All Weather" S/S and synthetic stock.Get the Ruger SBHH and put either Hogues or Pachmyers and you'll have a matching pair.Supposely Pach doesn't make them for the Hunter Yet. Hogue said the ones that fit the sq trigger guard SBH will fit but there is a gap by the Trigger Guard. Go figure. Thanks for the comments. I'm sure it will be a good shooter. Ruger Redhawk

Yah, I'm proud of it.As far as that goes I'm proud of all my guns. Ruger's in particular. It's still a thrill buying a new one but the thrill doesn't last as long as the first ones did..LOL. Ruger Redhawk

My Leupold 2x20 got here yesterday. I mounted it this afternoon. It's quite a combo.I would have rather had a Matte black instead of the silver. All I could find listed were either Gloss or the silver. I checked a couple of catalogs Natchez and Midsouth were both the same price @219.99 . BassPro they were the same price at their store.Leupold must hold dealers to a min. price they can sell for..I'm getting itchy about going to the range and trying this jewel out.
