I would agree with you Quigley, shot a fair few foxes with the mange and put down a couple of dogs that had it real bad

If I was a bettin man, someone dumped it out quite some time ago. It got the mange, is in pitiful shape and is hungry. That's why it's hanging around. A coyote with mange wouldn't do that around people in broad daylight. Someone needs to catch it before winter, or winter will kill it. The best thing I've ever seen for mange is used motor oil. Keep it rubbed down with that and its hair will come back better than ever. They get in such sad shape that they will welcome the relief from that oil. An old man that is long dead taught me that trick.
