Photo of my great, great grandpa in front of his store. Unsure of the year, have so many pictures that they didn't write the date on. He's the one in the middle. [/img]

Here he is a few years later driving a new car. Times must've been good.

The boy on the front row, right side, is my grandpa in 1908. His mother is the daughter of the man in the previous picture. Simpler and harder times.

This is my grandma and great grandma during the depression. Real hard times. Mom always hated this picture, said it reminds her of "The Grapes of Wraith". I guess it does.

Have some Civil War photo's of my Confederate kin out at mom's that I will try to post one day. The one photo is from my grandmother's side, he was a confederate officer out of Missouri. His dress sword went to the youngest daughter in the family. My mother has it now, then it'll go to my youngest sister. I always thought it was pretty neat.

Quigley I found these photos of real interest, you are extremely lucky to have old memorabilia, so much of our her heritage is not past down or missing or people aren't interested. Great Photos

Steve I'm real lucky to have them. Mom's got tons more somewhere, I'd have to root around. Real fortunate to still have that civil war sword in the family. Hate to say it, but the women in the family have always been more responsible, guess that's why alot of stuff is still around.

Those are great pics, quig!! If ya lived closer to me, I'd help ya look for the other ones! I love getting out all of Grandma and Grandpa's old family pics from the 1800's and early 1900's, just so they can tell me about them!! With Grandpa bein 88 in sept, and Grandma just turnin 86, I know my time is limited with them, so I wanna learn all that I can about that side of the family. And to top it off, we found out last summer that Grandpa has prostrate cancer, so I'm spendin all the time I can with them!!

Jen wish you could post some of them pics. Glad you're spending all the time with your grandparents that you can, alot of folks don't. Then they spend the rest of their days wishing they had've. I'm guilty of it.
