Hey JCalhoun, Roll Tide, and War Eagle Country huh? were almost neihbors, the almost part is a bit of a stretch, but I live close to Birmingham, But I mainly hunt down near you! You ever Hunt Barbour County Wildlife Management Area? They finally got a good, actually Great Biologist down there now Frank Allen, he has implemented the QDM strategy 6 years ago on the WMA and gives out either sex permits every day of every gun hunt, and we will be able to take two deer a day this year, one buck and one doe, he has tried to get it for the past 4 years they gave it the go-ahead last month, unless it is recended, by his supervisor, it's not on the posted bag limit's online, but I have talked to him about the new rules this year, the verdict is still out on crossbow's on WMA's, but I belive it will happen! Come on up and hunt with us this year! I harvested or killed a deer every day of a gun hunt last year on that WMA, +3 on private land, I got 26 total, lost a few, but that's huntin' I have a new rifle this year and I hope it helps to eliminate the loss ratio side of my harvesting! We got some giant Fox squirrels down there too, all different color combinations, they are marvelous animals!

Thanks for the invite. Unfortunatlely, I get to do much hunting. I get to go up to my brother's place in Monroe County every now and then.
Going to try do do a safari this year. I know a fella in Florida who is an agent. He is going to take a small group over if you or anybody else is interested.
