Well the first morning I set up where I had seen a nice gobbler the afternoon before strutting in a field. I waited til after daylight for him to finally gobble which was 0640...I called to him and he cut me off double gobbling. I kept track of him and heard him spit and drum just out of sight. I turned to be ready and up he popped onto a tracto path. Bang. Done at 0650. I then went to another spot on thursday morning in the rain adn set up on another bird we knew was there. I waited again til around 645 and just yelped three times, he cut me off about 60 yards behind still in a tree. I waited for a few minutes and yelped to him again, again he cut me off. He did that two more times before he flew down on the other side of a fence row. I yelped to him and he came around the end of it and went straight to my jake decoy at 20 yards. I had drawn on him when he went behind the corner of my blind. I had to wait for him to step out from behind my decoy before I could let he arrow fly. Hit him right in the boiler maker breaking his wing. He flopped over on his back and never made another movement. 1st bird was 10.5" beard 7/8" spurs 1 1/4" spur adn 20 lbs. 2nd bird was 9 1/4" beard with 1' and 1 1/4" spurs and 19 lbs. rain soaked bird w/ bow Me Forrest Edward we got all of those the first day.
