Just wanting to try bow hunting some turkey this year and needing tips on how to do so! What broad heads to use and how to succeed in getting close enough without getting caught drawing?

If I was you I would get a double bull blind.Me and my dad are going to and then we are going to bow hunt for turkeys.

I used 100 grain muzzy four blade and mine just rolled over backwards. I used a dog house blind with just the center window open never knew I was there. I set my decoy up at 20 yards knowing that he would go straight to it. Good Luck.

thanks! i'm gonna give it a whirl on the 30th!!! my buddy has a pop up blind so i'll give it a try! where do you shoot em at? head, neck, or above the leg?

I like to shoot them at the base of the wings. 3 or 4 blade fixed blade broadhead.
ALWAYS use a string tracker device. It will save you a lot of lost birds.
It is best if the arrow stays in the bird. Zwickey make a Scorpio (sp) device that helps in this respect.
