my only black powder kill! I bought this gun for $30 rebuilt it and cleaned it up.it is 45 cal. shot this doe at 60 yards! with a round ball!

Congrats Guess, Nice looking doe.Nothing like getting your first BP deer.I haven't bow hunted in many years and never shot a deer with a bow. If and when I do I'm sure it will be a thrill.Keep up the good work.

I just now noticed that ruger tattoo.I'm a ruger man also! no tat though! i've got a ruger .243 ,.25-06 ,7mm mag and a .357 security-six. my .243 is my favorite!

Thanks Guess, I've been a Ruger man of 30 years or so.There is just something about Ruger's. I have or had my share of them.Once in awhile you'll find one that needs a little attention,but that's not very often. When it does Ruger will stand behind it.I'm a big fan of the M-77's,for the money it's hard to beat. The S/A are second to none.For the Redhawk and SRH line you won't find a stronger gun. Yes I like my Ruger's. The Red Labels are fine shotguns and reasonably priced compared to your better guns. Ruger Redhawk
