I tried feathers once. They flew good but the first time I went hunting with them it was really foggy and the feathers didn't like it very well. Also they seem to be awful noisy walking thru the brush.Any time something touched them they made what seemed to be a very loud russling sound. Then again my heart sounds loud to me in the woods.Especially...you know when. GT

The only time I regularly used feathers was for indoor target tournaments. For hunting and other types of outdoor shooting, I prefer the durability of vanes.

My feathers make it through all summer shooting and then all through season.
Only need to refletch before summer gets here.

one reson i dont like feathers is that when it is wet and your feathers get wet, when you release the arrow, all the water in comes out onto your face, messes me up
