How many finger shooters and release shooters do we have here?
What's your favorite release aid type?

I shoot with fingers! i use a shooting glove. i like to be able to feel the string! the only thing i don't like is that shooting with fingers tends to twist the string and give the arrow a fish tail motion!

Here's what I used to do. It worked well for me for years until I got target panic. Won my share of tournaments, and could always shoot a bullet hole thru paper at any distance from 5 feet - 20 yards from the bow.
I lock my hand into my jaw, and just open my hand. I don't let the string pull away or anything like that, and I don't let my hand slide back along my face, or come away from my face in anyway.
I know it's against everything you've ever heard or read, but it's always worked for me. I like the Damascus gloves.

I like to shoot both ways, I use the pro diamond release by tru-ball and realy like it. I shot a wrist strap release for a long time and just don't like any thing strapped to my wrist....seems like I was always hitting some thing with it.
