After I shot this dear I was surprized :oIt came sneaking in like a doe had the skinny neck the whole nine yards. I shot it at about 7:00 am with a 12gauge Ithaca model 51 auto using 00 buck shot at 40 yrds

tHis was taken at a friend of mines. We usually skin all of our deer at his house since the processor is only 2 miles away from him

I think sooner or later any hunter that hunts doe will take a button. The sad part is in some states or parts of states it may be the only buck the hunter is allowed to take depending on the length of the buttons and whether or not it is counted as an anterless or anterled deer. I for one am a meat hunter first and rack hunter secound. i hunt doe in season and sometimes don`t even take a buck becouse I have all the meat I need.
