This is a pic of the tree that I had one of my feeders hanging from. I poured some "Buck Jam" on the bottom of the tree and you can see where the deer were chewing on the roots of the tree.

BnR we was talking at work last month about you saying your deer were nocternal You should invest in a feeder (Moultree) and let it only dispense at daytime that sometimes helps the deer come in during the day. Right now they are all pretty much on a nighttime feeding pattern But this will help when spring, summer, fall gets here. Just my opinion dont take it to heart but I would try that The place where I have the trail cam set up has been a little slow so I have just dumped about 400lbs of corn out I am going to get them used to comeing in and slowy take th ecorn down then put the corn in the feeder so they might get used to it being there in the day time. and none at night So they will come in during the day to get some corn before all the other rodents get it

Yeah I have been thinking of ways of making my stand behind my house (where my latest trail cam pics were taken) a daytime feeding area. Ive discussed it with a lot of people and ive heard some really far out ideas that kinda make sense. One of my friends told me that he would hang a freshly washed white T-shirt up near his stand every evening right after dark and then in the morning before sunrise he would take it down, put the shirt in his backpack and hunt. He said it didnt work for a while but eventually he started seeing more deer in the daylight hours. No nice bucks but several does and a few small spikes and four points. But it seemed to work for him. A Moultree Tripod Feeder w/ a timer is next on my wish list. When I plant my food plot this year im gonna put my feeder right in the middle of it. Im thinking of making a ground blind to hunt this food plot behind my house. Its so thick in the pines, unless a deer runs right under your stand you wont see it. But if your hunting on the ground you can see a lot better under the pines. Thanks for the advice BTH. Ill let ya know if it works.
