Antone seeing any deer?? I have been out 3 times in a row and not seen a single hair!! I know with it being 70+ degrees that doesn't help, but I figured I would see something, are they on strike?

Don't feel bad HHG you're not alone.I was up for 4 days and never saw the first glimps of a deer.It was unseasonably warm, Mo Skeeters reappearing plus the moon sure didn't work to our advantage.I talk to a friend who is a local there. He has allot of friends in various hunting clubs. He said everyone has been complaining not seeing even a doe. What started out being a good season for me has taken a turn for the worst. The next 5 days will end our season.I would like to at least get one more for the freezer.I have enough stocked up but can you ever have to much venison? One night I went to a couple different towns looking for closeout on huntin stuff at Wally Worlds.. I always see deer driving. I drove close to a 100 mile and never saw one feeding on the roadside like usual. It's very discouraging but that's why it's called hunting.

I figured I would see something, are they on strike? Nope the Southern Deer are unfortunately Non Union. They don't have strikes of walk outs. That was a good excuse though why we haven't been seeing them. Ruger Redhawk

The only times ive been seeing deer since it warmed up was after it got dark. I saw a few yearlings but nothing worth taking. When I shot my last doe it was around 9:25am and only 10 degrees outside. There were deer moving everywhere that morning. Anything would have to move when its that cold. But I shot my spike buck at 8:00 am in the morning on December 29th. It was in the mid 30's and was expecting to get into the 60's by the afternoon. I wasnt hunting a corn pile or anything. I was in my climber hunting some flloded hardwoods right off of the river. So go figure? I just tried to make sure that I was in the woods as much as possible. All times of the day and I never did notice any type of pattern that the deer were using.
