What I'm meaning is alot of folks have a lucky camo shirt or something to that effect that they wear hunting. Or just something they'll do before they head out. Was curious if anyone here had that habit? Laugh if you may but mine used to be a "buffalo nickle" that had been my grandpa's. Anymore it's a "medicine bag" I wear around my neck when hunting. Now go ahead and laugh, but I know someone else here must also have a habit of such. Fess up.

heh..that's not funny... I say a prayer before i go to bed and before i go out hunting...here it is.. "Hunter's Prayer" 'Lord, please give me hunter's luck, To shoot a mighty eight point buck, And when luck like this is in the bag, I will have a reason then to brag' and then there is one thing i always do when we skin and gut the deer, we take some blood of the deer and put two streaks of the blood on the side of our faces when we take the pictures..i believe that the blood allows the deer's spirit to be with you and guide you on your next hunt... Same thing with bloody arrows, i keep them in my bow case for good luck.. Now you may think that is funnier than what you do...but i am serious! Go ahead and laugh if you must, i will have plenty more people laughing at me in the future... Good luck hunting and god bless

Good one 12 Gauge!!! I wear my lucky camo fatigue pants and a green hooded sweatshirt under a camo jacket! Always seem to see more when I have that combo on! 12 gauge you will learn that some wise @$$ will always laugh at you all through life no matter what you do!!!! It's a vicious world we live in so make the best of it while you're here!!!! Amen~ i am young and still have not experienced everything... Thus being young doesn't mean i won't be open to bad days, bad experiences.. Life isn't about doing what YOU want to do, it is what God wants you to do, he wants us to believe that Jesus is his son, and that he sacrificed himself on the cross to save us from sin, and for us to follow the ten commandments.. Yes i am christian, and i do believe in life after death, and so i believe in spirits, guardians and angels.. and the stuff i posted about the blood, i do believe that the spirit of the animal will be with you.... Even though you can't see it with your naked eye, you can see it in your 3rd eye or your mind's eye.. If you don't believe in the third eye, then what eye are you looking through when you day dream? When you open both of your eyes and you day dream, you don't notice the objects or such through your real eyes....you are concentrating on your third eye... Sorry if i got a little off topic there... I tend to do that everynow and then lol Anyway... don't be ahsamed of what you believe or what you do, it is free will, the freedom of choice, the freedom of speech, the freedom of thought, and yet the most important, the freedom of belief.. Good luck hunting this season and god bless

Thanks 243, whats with the "AHEM"? Jealous... JK.. Yeah my parents did raise me good... It is a good thing my father is a good hunter...and he passed on those traits to me anywho... I am sure your family raised you good.. I just got lucky and have a dad who hunts a lot.. sigh.. I feel bad for those who can't hunt due to their parents lack of experience in outdoor sports, etc.. Trust me i ain't as good as ya think... I can tend to have a pretty bad attitude...and i tend to worry too much... Like hunting at dark...i don't mind hunting in the mornings because i know that it will get lighter, but at night...i tend to get a "wanna go home" feeling.. if ya know what i mean...i have messed up more than one of my parents hunts, and my dad even threatened that if i don't stop then he will never bring me hunting again.. Which that was a heart breaker for me.. My passion is to go outdoors..to be one with nature, to live my life today as if i am going to die tomorrow... Anyway, you can find pretty good info, check my website here...it is still under construction.. www.freewebs.com/number01hunterI study more about deer and their habits and habitats than i do on tests and quizzes for school lol! School bores me, hunting, fishing and being outdoors is my passion! it is my obsession! It is my destiny! Well hunting season is exactly one week from today (saturday) for me... I can't wait! Next saturday, October 2nd, me and my father are going to hit the woods first thing that morning and again that evening! I wish yall good luck this season and bag us some big bucks! God bless
