Howdy Y'all,
After a bad case of poison ivy that went into my bloodstream and developed into something call cellulitus kept me hospitalized for a few days, I'm out. Still on heavy duty antibiotics, but I'm getting better.
See I have a lot of reading to do.

Glad to hear you're getting better. That can be some bad stuff for some folks! My youngest sister was also hospitalized with it when she was around 11. She got it from the smoke when Dad was doing some burning off. Glad you're better!

Sorry to hear that CJF.Glad you're doing better. I can feel for you. I got a good dose of poison Ivy about 5 years ago. Nothing like you got thankfully. That's some miserable stuff.I found what works real well. It's called Ivy Rest. Wal*Mart sells it. A friend told me about it. One of the major power companies keeps it in their first aid kit.If you ever get another dose of it give it a try.

Holy smokes CJF, that's scary! Glad you're okay.
Another good thing for topical poison ivy is Ban roll-on deodorant. Don't know what it is, but the unscented version smothers it out. It won't itch as bad, and dries up really fast!
