I haven't done anything like that in several years. Luckily I learned. But it would have to be some new gimick to make my bow quieter, or faster, or more efficient.

Bigtyme, I wish I had your confidence.I've had a old model since 1993 and it has proved to be a great stand. The new version almost killed me once.It slipped down a tree about 4 feet before regrabbing the tree. I mentioned this before on this site.Treelounge did replace the bent up stand and broken Leveler. My new model constantly wants to slip. My old model never had the slightest slip.Treelounge knows there is a problem. The "Vee" section on mine is the semi rounded extrusion. Treelounge from what I've been told has changed it back to the squared angle.I have emailed TL many times concerning this. I would like to have mine revised to the sq angle.I've never received a reply.Others on different sites have experienced the same customer service from them.Like I mentioned TL knows there is a problem. Their easy fix was the Bite-n-blade. I did email Mr. Spivia directly. He was apologetic and I was sent a set of the Bite-n-blades.I use to really like Treelounges. After my experience with my new version,I have my doubts.I've had a couple people contact me asking me to sell my TL to them.I would rather eat it as a loss then someone get hurt using it. I won't go two feet off the ground without using my safety belt. When I had that slip I had been up all day from before daylight until I couldn't see anymore at dark. Coming down it broke loose.I'll never know exactly what happened. I had just loosen my safety belt and Bingo.. I only use my new version as a last resort now.I refuse to loan it out. I basically wasted 200.00 on their Goodwill program when the new models were introduced.I've asked to return it for a refund since I feel it's unsafe. They refused because I had it over 30 days at the time.To me this is no way to run a business.

BigTyme, I'm one who if I have something to say,I will say it. Good or bad.TreeLounge when Bob and Margret Hice started and ownerd TL it was a good company to deal with. Since the change in ownership ,it's isn't worth the powder to blow it to Hell . Just last year I fell for one of their specials again.Reduced clearance price on selectived items. One was their padded arm rest.I ordered two sets one for each of my TL's.They turned out to being a plastic like vinyl. There were very tight. Then once you had them on it sounded like you were resting on potatoe chips. After about two minutes of that I peeled them off. I dropped them to the ground. The following week I returned them to TL.I lost the shipping both ways.Oh yes my Levelers.I'm sure others have noticed the Levelers don't open evenly. In my opinion that put undue strain on parts of the Bar.There again I contacted TL concerning this. I was asked to return them which I did.If I remember correctly they had them a couple months.I get them back and the same results. Now they have a recall for the Levelers. I never trusted them from the first time using them.If I were smart I would have returned them within the 30 days.I received them after a long backorder. I waited a short time before trying them.I can't blame them for that ,that was my fault. They speak with a forked tongue. They preach safety. Watch a TL Video. How many times to you see Dean Durham wear the safety belt.If they really were concerned about safety, they would recall the new version TL's and revise the "Vee" section to the sq angle. You can't even get an answer from them.Until there is a change for the better with TL ,they won't see another penny of mine.I'm one who believes strongly in safety.I have to look out for myself, nobody else will.I wear a safety belt before I leave the ground and it stays on until I get back on the ground.Treelounge is setting themselves up for a major lawsuit. Then I see where some of their products are Made in China. That must have been the reason for the long Backorder for the Levelers and the quality issue.American companies better wake up before it's to late.I would hate to see TL go belly up, but there again they asked for it ,if and when they do. I'll continue to use my Old Model. The new version forget it. Ruger Redhawk

I didn't know they changed owners. I have one of their original video's with that crazy lady. Always throwing her hat in the air and dancing around. How come they sold it? Did she fall on her gun and it went off??

I've gotten allot of laughs out of that crazy lady as you say. That's Margret Hice the inventors lovely bride. If I shot as many trophies as she has I might act the same way.I'm not sure when Bob and Margret sold out. They sold to a fellow named Rhett Spivia. It's now called Cessco. It's also a LLC Company which means Limited Laibility Company.I have no idea why they sold out.My thinking B&M were getting up in years, made their fortune and saw more money selling.I see they are both in the newer videos and are probably getting Royalities from that. The way Bob Hice designed the original TL proved to be a good climber except for the weight.I'm sure Bob didn't have anything to do with making the new version. Supposely TL hired engineers to redesign the TL using lighter weight extrusions. They claim it's stronger then the original TL which I find hard to swallow.I would fired these clowns and hire some with a little knowledge. Then their powder coating. Not that's it a big deal.it's going to get scratched anyway. On mine and heard from others the powder coat chips and peels. I touch all my stands up before the season. My original TL that's 11 years old that I camo-ed myself has held up better then my 4-5 year old new version with the green powder coat.I used to praise TL until the new versions hit the market. I would much rather deal with a little extra weight and be safe then to use a lighter weight death trap.I wonder if TL would hire me as a "Spokeman for their company? I'll either make 'em or break 'em.LOL. I would guess-a-mate TL changed hands approx 5 years ago.

Talking about the Treelounges has me cranked up again.
Does anybody know how to contact the TMA? (Treestand Manufacturers Association).I looked on the web, emailed Treestand companies and haven't been able to get the inf needed.I would like to contact them concerning the New Version TL's.If I can save one person form being severely injured it would be worth all my efforts.Anybody who has their email address, phone number or mailing address it would be greatly appreciated.
