Both of these were taken from Alberta. Our family guide died a few years ago so i havent been able to go back up.

Sorry to hear of your guide's death, the photos you posted only show little rex x's for me. Here's my lateset Moose... shot September 30, the day before my 48th birthday. I used my Marlin .444 to best effect on this hunt. One shot to the neck breaking a vertibrae second shot to stop the thrashing was to the head, smashing the skull plate, hit right at the base of the right antler breaking it loose from the skuul plate. Dressed out 654# cut, wrapped & frozen, I kept 454# & gave the friend who helped me load it the other 200# for his help. --Ken
