My replacement TL came today. I opened it up to see what changes have been made. I was quite happy to see now that Bob Hice is back, basically the old version is back too! I was asked if I would like another new version or a new one BH redesigned.I took the BH updated one.It still has some of the new version's features. The small knobs to lock the foot section from sliding out, the climbing pin and cinch strap. They come with a new 4 point Safety Harness. The frame is back to the Sq frame instead of the semi rounded.Yes the "Vee" section is back to the sq angle also. That was probably the best improvement I see.Overall I'm happy with the looks of it so far and I'm sure it will climb like the Original models made back in the 80's and mid 90's. By the way they are still powder coated in green.Once again I appreciate BT's help getting this TL issue resolved. And TMA of course.I probably won't try it out until I get in the woods next month.Later today I'll most likely assemble it.I did ask and was told all of the TL accessories will work on the BH Revised model.Thankfully it looks like TL is going to be the same company it was before changing ownership to Rhett Spivia a few years back. RR I am glad you finally got it straightend out It seems as if it were alot of trouble getting to this point but hopefully well worth it I'll have to agree it was allot of trouble, but I think it will be worth it.Nothing ventured nothing gained. I started putting it together tonight. The Levelers were updated on the recall. Now my bolts are a little to short for comfort.Same with the bolts for the foot climber section when using the Bite-n-blades.I like a little more threads going into the knobs.A quick trip to Home Depot will solve that problem.
