Does anyone own any handguns made by High Point Arms? I have a .380 pistol. They are not real expensive handguns and the one I have shoots really well. I bought it off of my dad for $100 and I dont think he paid too much more than that for it new. I havent spoken to anyone else who owns any handguns made by them. I carry mine as a side arm when im deer hunting. I use it just in case I wound one. I mainly rifle hunt with my 7 mag and id hate to have to finish one off with it. And im not a big fan of cutting a deer throat either. I would just rather see it die before it hits the ground (no suffering) and so far I havent had to use it. Im very glad too!!

BuckNrut in all fairness I've never shot or owned one of these. From what I've heard and read they aren't the most reliable or best of quality guns.If you want it for range use, there's no problem there. I wouldn't recommened using it for self protection. Even if it proves to be reliable enough for SD the 380 round is to light for SD in my opinion. As long as you're satisfied with this High Point that's all that counts.
