When I have a little extra time I'll have to get a couple pictures of my SRH and my new SBH Hunter The SRH is topped by a Redfield and the new Hunter has a Leupold.
AR M.S. nice looking gun. Is that the Savage Striker? I've never seen one but heard about them.

After I posted my last post I went to the Savage site. It doesn't look like a Striker. What is it?

RR that would be the magnum research, lone eagle. it is a rotating breech design
and, in keeping with the thread, my current hunting handgun is a ruger GP100 .357mag. eventually i will sell it and most likely buy a super blackhawk hunter bisley .44mag

Thanks t-roy, Ahhhhh That's a Magnum Research.I've heard allot about them. I know my Ruger's but when it comes to these other makes and models I'm still in the dark. When I worked at a gun shop way back I knew just about every gun that came out.Since not working at one for 25 years things do change. Then I have a severe case of CRS.Thanks again for the information.

Guess I ought to get off my dead a$$ and take some pics! Had some old ones of some of my old assault rifles and a couple pistols but don't know where they went. Probably an "ex" ended up with them. Did find one old one, it's been wet and almost ruined. This one was a Colt "shorty" AR-15, put a regular buttstock on it and was trying out a new flash-hider. Went back to the standard one. This rifle was bought in the 70's along with the others I had. All of which were stolen later on down the line. Should've kept my ole dog "Spike", the one in the picture.

Probably an "ex" ended up with them. . Should've kept my ole dog "Spike", the one in the picture. I've been there and done that. Fun isn't it? Yep ! you should have kept "Spike' Allot less agravation then the ol'e Bride.I kept both my dogs. They are both dead now,but wouldn't have traded them back to the "ex" for anything. And I mean anything.....Well maybe if I could have her and gotten away with it. Ruger Redhawk

Aaahhh! Now i see the reason for the remarkes the other day. Oh Really No I'm not bitter but very cautious.I'm not saying I wouldn't get married again. It will be when Hell freezes over though.Chances of that happening are slim to none.I regained my freedom 11 years ago.I plan on keeping my freedom. Once was enough for me. Well maybe if the right one comes along. Then again I'm not looking. Ruger Redhawk
