Savage Arms has introduced the AccuTrigger system for their bolt action center fire rifles that is simple yet ingenious at the same time. The pull weight is user-adjustable from 1-½ to 6 pounds, with complete safety against bump-off if dropped.
Does anyone own a Savage bolt-action with the new Accu-Trigger? Im thinking about getting the new trigger system for my Savage.

I recently bought a Savage 110FP in 25-06 with the accutrigger. I really like the accutrigger. It's a nice crisp trigger. It has a center section that must be pulled in before the actual trigger is pulled and fires the rifle. This is the feature that prevents the gun going off if you drop it. It doesn't take many shots to get used to the accutrigger.

The Accu-Trigger is adjustable right? I was wondering because I wanna put one in my Savage but I havent heard any feedback from someone who has a rifle with this trigger on it. My Savage was made one year before they started putting this trigger system in their rifles and I contacted Savage's customer service and they said that it would fit in my rifle. Im thinking about getting the law enforcement stock for my rifle to help with my accuracy and if this trigger is adjustable to where you can adjust the sensitivity on it im gonna change them out. So far are you fairly pleased with the trigger system? Have you found any flaws with it yet?

The Accutriggers are indeed adjustable. You get an adjustment tool with the rifle. I would recommend a Bell and Carlson stock for a replacement stock. They are much stiffer than the Savage factory stocks and free float the barrel. I just installed one on my Savage 116 in 300 RUM and my Savage 110 FP in 25-06. They come with a Pachmyr recoil pad which is much better than the Savage recoil pad. The B&C stocks for the Savage rifles are about $100 bucks at Midway USA.

The Accutrigger cannot be retro-fitted to the older rifles. The new receivers and different machning to make the trigger work. Sharp Shooter Supply makes a fantastic trigger that will fit both old and new Savage centerfires. www.savageshooters.com
