Was wondering what ya'lls favorite knife and makers are? My last 2 came from Ernie Grospitch, www.erniesknives.com my "Kansas Bowie" is on his site, second one down, my initials RW on the handle. Also had him make me a drop point, it got here after season so I didn't get to try it out. Ole Ernie will fix you up with what you want. Got one of Billy Watsons drop points also, he's got some fine ones at www.watsonknives.com I believe my next one is going to be a Randall. www.randallknives.com

I have quite a few knives. I've never been a real knife fan. (You have to get to close LOL.)I do like my Case XX's and Gerber. I have a couple of Cold Steel that have held up well.I have a Buck 103 "Skinner "now that thing will hold an edge.Naturally a few Buck 110's have been in the picture.A couple Sharades here and there.I guess I'm a bigger knife fan then I thought.LOL.

RR, I've carried a Case for years, have a Gerber boot knife that I got for Christmas in 1979. Both have been fine knives. Danny that Browning swivel knife looks to be a deer gutting SOB! Kershaw makes some good looking knives, what model is yours 243?

Quigley I have a couple of the Gerber boot knives you're talking about. They are brand new but the boxes from age are taking it's toll.I couldn't tell you without digging them out what models they are.I also have one possibly two of the Gerber real Stag Horn handled knives.I've had these for close to 30 years now. Renegade let me see what I can do.I found my knives.I put them in a safe place then I couldn't find them. When it comes to these computers ,I don't have much knowledge.I'll see if I can figure it out. If not I can send them to you and you can post them. I found a Gerber stag sheath knife, A Gerber Stag Folding Sportsman II, Two boot knives. One is a Command II not sure what the other one is. Ruger Redhawk
