Last year my hunting partner and I each bought a pair of Steiner Bionocs. They are the Safari model if my memory serves me correctly.Very small and compact. Not much bigger then the size of a cigarette pack.I have a big pair of Redfields. They are just to big and heavy to comfortably carry.By the end of the day my neck would hurt. These lil' Steiner's go with me everytime. The Redfields spent more time in camp then in the treestands. They were a good investment for about 90.00.

I use a pair of Tasco 8x40. Ruger, I know what you mean about the neck pain. For my birthday my wife bought me the Bino-System by Crooked Horn Outfitters. That system is awesome. Just for kicks I wore my bino's around the house last Sunday, man that system really works. It was like I wasn't even carrying the binoculars around. They are well worth the $15 my wife spent on them Later, Dave

Dave I just found your reply. Better late then never If you can give me some information about the Bino- system I would appreciate it. I like my Tiny Steiners. The Big Redfields would give me allot better field of view if they weren't just so darn heavy. It would be worth the 15.00 to be able to use my Redfields again. My Redfields have a wide padded strap or I guess you'd say a foam like strap. It's still the weight drawing down on my neck causing the problems. Thanks. I'll try to remember to check back within another two months not like this last time. Ruger Redhawk
