Do you have one?
Do you use it for hunting?
Have you ever had a hunt ruined by someone on one?

yes, yes, and yes! I like them a lot now due to the high gas prices! they are a lot cheaper to run on the deer lease than my f-250 V-10 4x4 crew cab!!! the only time i had a deer hunt ruined was by 2 quail hunters not respecting me, the quail, or the land! they were taking off cross country not 100yds from my 16' tower blind(which i know they could see!) and chasing the quail down all over the pasture! they almost had lead goin over their head! prior to all of this i had 3 doe and a spike at my feeder. i was going to take the cull buck!!! Oh well!

I don't have one. You can't use them on public land here so I'll wait until I can buy my own land to hunt on.
And yes, I've had a few of them come bustin' thru an area while hunting. Don't people realize what's going on come sunrise on opening morning?

Yes I have one a Polaris 1997 Sportsman 500 with about 275 hours on it. I do use it hunting. To get to and from my stands, put the stands out pre season and to tote our deer out.Of course to take the stands back out at the end of the season. We don't joy ride. Right now there is only two of us leasing the property. We hunt in different directions so we don't disturb eachother.I have a broken hip from a motorcycle accident 30+ years ago so the 4 wheeler helps me allot with my handicap. Then I use it around my property at home for chores. I think a 4 wheeler is a great tool if it isn't abused.

Thanks Danny,I'm happy with it for the most part.Had some minor problems but all is well now.I had to replace tie rod ends @225 hours. The belt cover had warped from the heat.85.00 later I have a revised cover with more heat resistant plastic. My main gripe is Polaris's customer service. I was told about the revised belt cover. I called Polaris. I might as well talked to the wall. The dizzy woman all she knew how to say is take it to your dealer.I asked if I could talk to someone else. She said no take it to your dealer.I ended up getting what I needed to know off a ATV site. A Polaris Tech gave me the part number. After that treatment from Polaris's CS I can assure you ,I won't buy another Polaris. This one will probably out last me but if it doesn't,Honda will get my new business.

I had to go to John Deere for a part today for my tractor. While I was there I noticed a New JD 4 Wheeler.Seems to me I read somewhere that the JD ATV is made by Artic Cat.This one happened to be a 650. Not needing another 4 wheeler,I was curious how proud JD is of that gizmo.Without batting an eye the salesman said 7 grand.I would like to hear how these hold up and perform. Are ther same as the Artic Cat or are they a different model where only a JD dealer will have parts?

i'd like a John Deer Gator I agree the JD Gator would be a handy thing to have.I personally would rather have a Kawi Mule. After buying parts from JD there has to be a cheaper way to go.I Priced a new altenator for a small JD Tractor Model 650. 272.31. My altenator checked out to fine thankfully and it turns out that regulator is bad.86.00 and change for a dealer only regulator. There ought to be a law against highway robbery. Ruger Redhawk
